Breaking My Silence…

I now break my silence. My national mission has always been, and remains, the most important and noble objective in this matter. What I am currently facing is neither the first nor the last of the necessary struggles undertaken in defense of principles.

Peace, dedication, and diligence in serving the interests of my country, Egypt, have always been my guiding values. The trust I have carried silently, with patience and careful organization, is a responsibility bestowed by God—to defend the heritage, history, and identity of Egypt. 

The Beginning..

The details of the conspiracy and the initial threads of wrongdoing became clear to me at the beginning of 2023, when I noticed unusual activity aimed at seizing the heritage, right under the supervision of the responsible authorities at the radio sector. I also observed periodic and deliberate posts on the personal pages of officials that appeared to link the sites involved in the theft of radio heritage, alongside other evidence confirming an orchestrated attack on the cultural and historical assets of the radio sector.

It is important to note that the radio library holds more than 450,000 heritage tapes, representing an invaluable part of our national cultural legacy, making these actions not only unlawful but a direct assault on Egypt’s historical and cultural identity.

Through continuous monitoring of the content sources, it became evident that the rate of attacks had been increasing in an organized and systematic manner since 2019. The suspicion of betrayal of position and public trust became undeniable, as it manifested in both knowledge of the wrongdoing and insistence on committing it, with some individuals even participating directly—without accountability or oversight.

Efforts to halt this ongoing damage were consistently obstructed. I was prevented from taking necessary action, whether by proposing radical solutions for protection or safeguarding the intellectual property rights of Egypt’s heritage, which had been deliberately exposed to public exploitation. This ongoing neglect and obstruction culminated in a legal petition filed by the head of the National Media Authority in October 2023.

In a final attempt to address the situation, the head of the radio sector verbally told me:

“I will not take any action. Let them report and handle it. This is not my responsibility.”

This statement reflects a deliberate refusal to fulfill official duties and a neglect of accountability in the protection of Egypt’s cultural and historical heritage.

The situation escalated and became increasingly complex after, by God’s providence, all the threads were revealed to me in a remarkable sequence. I discovered, almost by coincidence in January 2023, the facilitation of the misappropriation of public funds. By July 2023, the evidence had been fully documented and reported, revealing the sub-selling of air time for personal profit and attempts to conceal these crimes.

This exposure showed that the scheme was systematic and nearly fully organized, extending from the original source to the final outlet.

Attempts to defame me and fabricate false allegations through malicious complaints and forged reports have intensified. These actions followed the discovery that certain individuals possessed assets and displayed wealth of unknown and unexplained origin…  (Details and evidence of these allegations will be published at a later stage.)

To maintain the confidentiality of the ongoing investigations, I was compelled to appear compliant, allowing others to believe the purported reasons for the tension and disagreements. In response, I filed a lawsuit against these false allegations and those promoting them, which were intended to divert attention from the real cases.

Through legal channels and with proper judicial authorization, I obtained additional evidence and documents, effectively countering their schemes and exposing the truth.

Patience was bitter, and silence was even more so. Amid the constant pressure and the illusion that I had accepted compromise, the accused leveraged their authority and the influence of their positions to assert control. I faced intense pressure from corrupt actors, including threats, intended to force me into submission and retreat.

I wish to express my gratitude to the security authorities for taking the necessary measures in response, and to the telecommunications companies for their swift cooperation in monitoring and addressing the threats.

On another level, the actions of the relevant agencies uncovered new attempts at cover-up, driven by mediation, influence, and deliberate deception by some individuals with malicious intent. Officials who were initially misled by this façade of courtesy eventually changed their stance, leading to the initiation of formal investigations and the registration of cases against known individuals both inside and outside the country.

This process culminated in a report submitted by the head of the National Media Authority to His Excellency, the Honorable Attorney General, documenting incidents of encroachment and theft of heritage.

The punitive and coercive measures taken against me

The situation began with an attempt to defame me, followed by deliberate obstruction, and ultimately my arbitrary suspension from work on December 13, 2023, by the head of the radio sector. This action came after I submitted a notification highlighting efforts to stop the ongoing misappropriation and attacks on the work, as well as to protect public funds that had been targeted without accountability or oversight.

My message concludes with the referral of the accused in multiple cases to the judiciary, most notably regarding attacks on state property and cultural heritage, the illicit profiteering from it, and suspicions of breach of trust in office.

My role in some of these cases is limited to providing testimony before God and participating in the legal process, which I view as a duty to restore the rights of the homeland and, subsequently, my own rights. It is important to note that no one can overlook my prior contributions, including my role in cleansing Maspero of the corrupt gang at the end of 2013, my assignment to oversee the engineering file, and the recognition and honors I received for that work.
